Rules:

An expansion/clarification of the rules so that you don’t get timed out or banned! We want to have a comfy space for all so having rules can help to make sure we all have a good time! By being able to chat in the stream means that you will abide by all of the rules listed below.Follow the chat etiquette guide.
“The Chat Etiquette Guide” is a semi-informal guide on being courteous to your fellow chatters/streamer! Not following the etiquette for streams can result in people not wanting to interact with you in chat/have your messages deleted/get you timed out and/or banned.Please be respectful to the streamer, collab members, mods, and chat.
Use common sense. If the streamer or mods tells you to stop, stop or you're going to get timed out and/or banned.No harassment, racism, or discrimination of any kind.
Absolutely no slurs or derogatory terms in regards to disability, ethnicity, religion, etc. Your messages will get deleted and you will get instantly banned.No trauma dumping or instigating drama.
I love hearing about your day, but some things are best left to you and your therapist. If you want to start drama or get into a fight, go to your local shopping center’s parking lot. I will not tolerate it in chat.Do not give out your personal information/other people's personal information.
This is for safety reasons! Birthdays, addresses, contact information, and other sensitive information can be considered personal information. Don’t doxx yourself or others. The messages will be removed and you may be timed out and/or banned.Do not self promote or advertise in chat.
Hustle culture is real, but advertising your services/content in chat will get you instantly banned. Also, general rule of thumb: please don’t bring up other streamers/content creators unless they were already mentioned by the streamer themselves.No backseating, spoilers, or leaks.
Unless I ask, please don’t try to force your opinions on how I should play the game. Rhetorical questions are not an invitation to tell me what to do. If I need help from chat I'll ask! If you are unsure if I need help, you can ask directly “do you need help?”. Otherwise let me suffer. TRUST me it’ll be funnier that way. Infraction messages will get deleted and you may get timed out and/or banned. (Examples of types of backseating/spoilers are in the “Chat Etiquette Guide”Don't use the term "triggered" to mean "annoyed"/use appropriate TW/CW when appropriate.
Triggered is a medical term not to be used lightly. If you’re upset about something just say that you’re upset or annoyed instead. If you are talking about a serious/potentially triggering topic, please use Content Warnings (CW) or Trigger Warnings (TW) before your post to alert people about sensitive topics. Content warnings are warnings for general subject matter, while trigger warnings are warnings for specific topics that can set off a medical trigger. (Content that should be tagged: Abuse, Animal Cruelty, Child Abuse, Eating Disorders, Death, Gore, Homophobia, Rape, Self Harm, Sexism/Misogony, Suicide, Transphobia, etc.) Not using these warnings may get your message removed and repeated offenses will get you timed out and/or banned.Use nuance when talking about serious topics.
We do occasionally talk about very serious topics that generate a lot of discussion with gray area and differing opinions. I ask that you kindly treat these topics with nuance and to please respect other people that have different points of view. DO NOT push your views on anyone. If conversation becomes too heated I will ask that we move on from the conversation. If you continue these conversations after I ask that we move on, you will be timed out and/or banned.Be respectful when discussing fandom content.
Fandoms can be MESSY and we all have different opinions on characters and stories. Please keep the discussions civil and abide by “The Three Laws of Fandom” (Don’t Like; Don’t Read/Your Kink Is Not My Kink/Ship And Let Ship). Not everyone will like/dislike the thing you like/dislike. You are allowed to choose to not engage in the conversation if the topic is not to your tastes. We're also a s(hr)imp safe zone, but please keep the s(hr)imping comments fairly family friendly (akin to how Rated E games/movies reference any spicy content. Any raunchier than that, then maybe you should save that for yourself). If conversation becomes too heated I will ask that we move on from the conversation. This is to make moderation easier. I’m alright if you provide an English translation to a certain phrase in the same line if it is needed for some context. If you don’t put a translation in the same line, your message will be removed and you may be timed out and/or banned.No links in chat.
Linking in chat without getting permission will get you timed out automatically. This is because there’s a lot of bot scammers/IP grabbers on Twitch. A mod will provide you permission once you tell the streamer/mods what the link is. If it’s a link that’s an IP grabber/a link that was given not in good faith, you will get banned.You forfeit all of your braincells for the gacha pool.
By accepting the stream rules, you have now accepted and contributed all of your braincells to the collective gacha pool for use by Eve and POwl_Bot. No takebacksies.Have fun!

Chat Etiquette:

Chat etiquette is an expansion of most of the rules in chat. This is just a general guideline with examples of what a streamer means when they speak about certain rules or topics. A lot of this etiquette can apply to other streamer’s chats as well, but make sure to read their rules as every streamer’s chat rules are different!Rules
The rules are there for a reason. You agree to the rules when you first enter chat and hit the “Accept Rules” button to start chatting. Breaking any of these rules will result in consequences that can differ per streamer, including timeouts or bans. Do NOT try to argue about these rules to the streamer/the mods who are enforcing them. The rules are there to keep their Twitch community safe.Respect the Streamer/Mods/Chat
No means no. If a streamer does not want to speak about/do something, do not keep pushing the topic or their boundaries, ESPECIALLY in regards to triggering topics or topics that the streamer can not speak about like NDAs (non-disclosure agreements). It’s their stream. If you don't listen to the streamer or the mods telling you to stop, you’ll get timed out/banned.Being in chat means that you’re in a shared community space. Every username speaking in chat has a person behind that name. Don’t be rude. Don’t try to instigate fights with other chatters or mods. If the streamer/chat is currently speaking about something you dislike, you can chose not to engage with chat at that time. This ESPECIALLY applies whenever chats engage in topics like fandom discussions. Do not attack any creators/chatters over something that was not to your tastes. That’s just rude.Self Promotion/Mentioning other streamers
Self promotion is a broad topic and can be interpreted differently by different people. However, redirecting chat to another person’s stream or your own stream tends to be a big no-no (Examples: “I’m going live right now!”, “I’m going lurk to watch X, bye!”, “Hey I’m almost an affiliate, can you follow me?”, "Why are you doing X? X streamer doesn't do that.", etc.”) Not only is this disrespectful to the streamer, you might get timed out or banned by doing this.Mentioning other creators is also a very broad topic as some streamers don’t mind when other creators are mentioned and some do. Although it SEEMS like a lot of content creators are very inter-connected, this is not always the case. Some people may have had bad experiences with another creator and don't want to talk about them. This also ties in with suggesting to watch other content creator's videos since that can draw the line of both mentioning another creator and serves as a form of promotion for that video. As a general rule of thumb, if the creator was not mentioned as a part of the topic/is relevant to the conversation, don’t bring them up!Trauma Dumping
While most streamers like to hear about your day, certain topics may not be the best to speak about on stream and should probably be reserved for your close friends or therapist. The streamer is not there to solve your life problems, nor are they a licensed therapist. (Examples of topics: NSFW topics, triggering topics, TMI topics, etc.) However, this is HEAVILY dependent on the streamer. If you really want to know if you can send the message, read their rules and ask a mod or the streamer!Back-seating/Spoilers/Leaks
Many streamers want to experience their game on their own and figure out the twists and turns themselves. Spoiling parts of the game or bracing them for upcoming parts of the game ruins the fun! (Example: “Oh, you shouldn’t go this route X will happen.”, “ X happens”, “Ooo you picked the wrong choice X”, etc.)Also, everyone will have their own play style! Not everyone has the most efficient builds/setups/etc, and that’s okay! Trying to force the way you play the game on the streamer will probably just get you kicked out of chat. (Examples: “You need to use X”, “Stop using X, they’re not meta”, “Why are you doing it that way? Use X”, etc.) If you want to play the game the way you play it, maybe you should just go play the game yourself.In addition, rhetorical questions are not invitations to tell the streamer what to do. Most streamers talk aloud to themselves to try to figure out how to solve something. If a streamer wants help from chat, usually they'll usually ask chat directly like "Okay chat I actually need help, could someone please tell me how to X" or use a code words to signal to chat that they actually need help. If you think your message might come off as backseating, ask the streamer “do you want advice on this?” and if they need help, they’ll say so!This can also apply for how a streamer goes about their streams in general. Some streamers like to talk a lot while playing and they may end up going on a side tangent instead of progressing the game. Telling them to “shut up and just continue the gameplay” not only is extremely rude, but if you want a stream to go a certain way, go stream/make the content yourself!Chat activity/Chat statistics
It’s generally rude to point out someone’s viewer count/chat interaction (Examples: “Wow I wonder what the other #X viewers are doing?”, “Dead chat”, “Why isn’t anyone speaking in chat?”, etc.) Some people may just be lurking and that’s okay! Some streamers also actively turn off their viewer count so they can concentrate on whatever they’re doing instead.Spam
Spamming the same text over and over or entering a new message after every line can cause the streamer to miss people’s messages. Some streamers might outright ignore/timeout/ban you if you start doing this. We want to interact with you as much as possible so please don’t do this. (Examples: Copying and pasting the same message over and over again, constantly tagging the streamer,

We can see your messages on stream, tagging us will not make us more or less likely to see your comment. As for DMs, some streamers may not actively check their DMs while streaming and only check them once stream is over. Please don’t push them to check their DMs when they say they’ll check them later. Also, don’t try to side step the rules by DMing the streamers instead including within in-game chat (you’ll get blocked).Asking for gift subs
Gifted subs are usually a gift from community members or from the streamer themselves and it’s randomized by Twitch. It takes actual money to get a gift sub. Asking for someone to give you a sub directly is generally seen as rude.Staying on topic
Staying on topic can prevent some of the other topics listed above. Conversations may flow from one topic to another which means the streamer may miss some messages and it happens! (however spamming the same message over and over again probably guarantees that the streamer will NOT look at it). If there’s something really off topic that you want to talk about, doing so in the streamer’s community Discord server may be the best place to go!Redeeming channel points
Please make sure to read what the channel points actually do. Those are your hard earned points! If there’s a redeem via channel points, don’t try to request it via chat. The streamer will just redirect you to the channel points available to you. Also unless the streamer specifies, they’re probably not going to change the redeem so that it works with what you want, ESPECIALLY when the redeem costs a different amount of points/if the original redeem is on cool down. Those limits are there for a reason. (Example: Redeeming a “Review Artifact” when you want the streamer to do a “Character Review”, Redeeming “Hydrate” when you want the “VIP Me” redeem, etc.)TL;DR: Don’t be rude, ask the streamers or the mods for permission, and just be respectful! We’re all just trying to have a good time!
